Dr. Jennifer Crumbaugh is proud to lead Crumbaugh Family Dentistry with a blend of clinical excellence, approachability, and genuine care. Born in New York City and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, Dr. Crumbaugh pursued her undergraduate degree at Washburn University before earning her D.D.S. from UMKC School of Dentistry in 2014. Her journey into dentistry started as a practical way to support her family, but she quickly found that the profession perfectly combined her strengths in math and science with her love of people.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Crumbaugh gained firsthand experience in the field as an orthodontic assistant and through meaningful work with the non-profit Smiles Change Lives. Today, she lives nearby in Lee’s Summit with her husband and two children, which makes caring for the Independence community even more personal. She’s passionate about providing preventive family care and maintaining high standards for restorative treatment. A proud member of the Facial Surgery Group Study Club and recipient of the Hope House Everyday Hero Volunteer Award, Dr. Crumbaugh brings both heart and expertise to every appointment.
